“The science of today is the technology of tomorrow” – Edward Teller
This real time world we are living in allows us to receive and share instant news, reports, updates and connections. Videos are becoming the hot trend for content, connecting and social media. We can watch YouTube videos, leverage online learning platforms for content, and use Instagram stories, periscope, snapchat and Facebook live to share live videos.
Wait for New Years to come and you we will start to see the explosion of live videos and sharing. Social media sites are placing more emphasis and engagement on videos, in particular live videos, compared to other content being released.
We are shifting from sharing a tweet, updating our status and sending a message to sharing videos of our life, experiences and adventures. Mark Cuban changed the game with live streaming in the late 90’s. We have come a long way since then. Over time we will begin to see more content online appearing in video format. Majority of the internet will soon be video dominated whether that be social media, online learning, even being connected.
Stay tuned for next week where we will discuss how the new video world is going to effect how we communicate and share our content.
